FAQ

Common questions

Do I need a BC health card?
No. Visitor / non-resident visits are self-pay — payable by cash, debit, credit, or most international travel-insurance providers. The fee is shared with you up front.
Will my travel insurance cover this?
Most travel-insurance carriers reimburse a consultation when you submit a receipt and visit note, both of which we provide in English. For direct billing with select insurers, please call ahead.
Do I need an appointment?
Walk-ins are welcome most weekdays. To minimize wait time we recommend booking a same-day slot online or by phone.
Can I get a prescription filled?
Yes. We can refill most common prescriptions on the same day; pharmacies are within walking distance of both clinics.
What should I bring?
Passport or photo ID, a list of current medications (or the bottles), and your travel-insurance card if applicable.
Can I get a copy of my visit notes?
Always. We provide visit notes, prescription copies and any test reports in English (中文 on request) so you can continue care at home.
